Indian Navy- Short Service Commission as Pilots in the Executive Branch
Applications are invited from unmarried male Indian citizens for Short Service Commission (SSC) as Pilots in the Executive Branch
Qualifications: A graduate degree in any discipline with minimum 65% marks. Should have qualified Mathematics & Physics at 10+2 level.
Physical Standards: (a) Height and Weight. Minimum height 162.5 cms with correlated weight, leg length, sitting height and thigh length. (b) Eye Sight. The minimum acceptable vision standard for distant vision 6/6, 6/9 correctable to 6/6, 6/6. Should not be colour/night blind.
Age Limit: 19 to 23 years born between 02 Jul 1988 and 01 Jul 1992; both dates inclusive.
Application Procedure:
Application Forms in accordance with the prescribed format and complete in all respects with superscription on the envelope “Application for SSC Pilots- Jul 2011 Course, Qualification……… Percentage......%” is to be sent to Post Bag No. 05, GPO, New Delhi - 110 001 by 15 Nov 2010.Applications to be sent by ordinary post only. Application must be accompanied by attested copies of : - (i) 10th Standard Certificate for verification of date of birth, (ii) other educational certificates, (iii) Marks statement of all semesters/ years. (d) Application and requisite enclosures must be properly tagged/stitched by thread only.
