NALSAR 2011 LAW
National Academy of Legal Studies and Research (NALSAR) admits candidates in to its BA LLB and LLM courses through CLAT. This exam is very important for all the students throughout India aspiring for law studies. Candidates appearing in this exam need to collect an application form from the campus office. Every year students show higher attention towards this exam in order to take admission in the law courses.
National Academy of Legal Studies and Research was started in the year 1998 under the National Academy of Legal Studies and Research University Act. NALSAR is a fully residential university. NALSAR University has been recognized by University Grants Commission. It was ranked as the best law school in the country by India Today in the year 2008. NALSAR is one of the 12 national law universities in India. This legal academy produces excellent and talented students each and every year and is placed in well known firms of India.

Popularity of the CLAT:
Candidates from all parts of India apply for this exam. As there is limited number of seats for BA LLB and LLM course for the aspirants, the competition is quite tough.
More about NALSAR:
National Academy of Legal Studies and Research is amongst the premier judicial institutes of India. It provides integrated BA LLB course of 5 years and LLM course of 2 years. In BA LLB course it has a total of 80 seats and 60 seats for LLM course of which 75% seats are reserved for general category. It is a reputed institute for law education in the country.
Eligibility Criteria:
For BA LLB a candidate should have qualified or passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with atleast 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved categories). Those who are appearing for class 12th exams in 2011 can also apply.
Also a candidate should be under 20 years of age (22 years for reserved categories) before 1st July, 2011.
For LLM candidate should have qualified with a LLB/BA LLB degree with at least 55% aggregate marks (50% for reserved categories). Those who are in final year can also apply.
Availability of Application forms:
Since the admission to NALSAR is through CLAT candidates need to apply for CLAT. The application forms for the CLAT examination can be availed from various branches of popular banks like State Bank of India, Indian Bank etc. One can also avail the application form from the university and law institutes that participates in the CLAT examination.
